LoginCelebrate the season with this clever scarf that combines wintry warp-clasped tree shapes and colorful Danish medallions. Embrace asymmetry with twisted fringe on one end and playful tassels on the other.
Inspired by evergreens and holiday lights, this scarf was designed to celebrate the holiday season without looking seasonal. The pointed claspedwarp accents at one end suggest blue spruce trees against a winter sky, while the colorful staggered Danish medallions hint at joyful festivities. Short, colorful tassels on the other end suggest a celebration in the works. The project invites you to break free of the pull of symmetry.
About Anne Merrow: Anne Merrow started weaving to reduce her yarn stash and ended up falling in love with the rigid-heddle loom. She loves to weave towels, because even the samples are useful! She lives in Colorado with two cats who insist on helping her warp.
