The colorful yarn of the weft does all the work in making this piece a standout. Quick and easy to weave, this all-season scarf can be made in an afternoon from start to finish.

The lumpy-bumpy texture of the weft yarn disguises any unevenness in the selvedges, making this a great beginner project. The crisp cotton warp softens with washing, and the colored nubs of the weft fill in the spaces between threads.

About Anne Merrow: Anne Merrow started weaving to reduce her yarn stash and ended up falling in love with the rigid-heddle loom. She loves to weave towels, because even the samples are useful! She lives in Colorado with two cats who insist on helping her warp.
